Important Dates/Reminders:
Reading: Grammar- We are using our Writer's Craft book as a reference to help with writing style, grammar, and punctuation. Writing- We will have long-term writing assignments, such as expository, persuasive, and descriptive. All writing assignments need to be typed, double-spaced, and in 12 point font. A title should be no larger than 16 point font.
Social Studies: We will focus on the five themes of geography (Place, Movement, Location, Human-Environment Interaction, and Regions) and apply these themes to the world around us. We will also study different types of maps, globes, and the Seven Elements of Culture.
Math-
**Students can arrange review sessions with me before school to review any concepts they may be having trouble with.
