Welcome to Grade 7 Meteor Math! I am so pleased to have you in my class this year. When homework has been assigned, you will find it listed here, by date and class on the school calendar-( Just click on the date assigned.) -as well as written on the whiteboard in our classroom. These assignments will remain on school notes for a few weeks after being assigned.
All quizzes and tests are announced ahead of time, and will also be posted on my school notes calendar.
Extra help is every morning, starting on Friday, September 8, and starts at 7 A.M. All students have a permanent pass, which is good for all year-no appointment necessary.
Don't forget the parent websight for help! also. I have also included 3 websights that I don't use, but that might interest you.

Grade 7 Math-Mrs. Morse's Meteors
CONNECTED MATH 2 REQUIRED MATERIALS:
pencils
a 3 ring binder to be used only for math
a supply of paper
a spiral notebook which will be for your journal
a TI-30 calculator
GRADING:
Your final grade wil be calculated this way:
15% homework( an effort grade)- This is given on most days and written on the whiteboard in room 212, to be
copied into individual student planbooks. It is also posted on school notes, for the convenience of students who
are absent.
10% journal
5% math binder
70% tests and quizz average- ( A test has twice the inpact of a quiz ) . These will always be announced in advance
and posted on my schoolnotes page.
MATH BINDER SETUP:
book
journal( The journal for a particular day will then have that night's homework directly following that journal page.
This jourrnal will be collected and graded at the end of each term.
vocabulary( kept in binder all year)
permanent morning pass ( This is for extra help on any morning at 7A.M., except for the morning of a unit test.)
