9 – 4 WELCOME BACK !!!!  This week students will have several assessments.  The first homework assignment was given today and is due Thursday.  My school notes page will be used to list test and quiz dates and other general information.  As time permits, it will show whether or not homework has been assigned.  Please check your child's agenda or assignment book for details regarding homework.  (For additional information about daily reading homework, please check Ms. Montorsi's page as well.)  Please ensure that your child has items on the supply list handed out in class on Friday.  Supplies are due on Friday, September 7, 2007.  The supply list and general reading class information is in the attached file entitled Reading Expectations 2007.  I am looking forward to a wonderful time of learning, laughing and growing with your children.

2/13  - We have just begun reading the novel Speak by Laurie Anderson. Each day students will participate in readings and class discussions about the novel.  Students will also write reactions/reflections to their readings in a journal.  Please click on the attachment below for further information regarding journal response requirements.    Progress reports will also be sent home with your child for your review and signature several times during the quarter.  Please check Ms. Montorsi's page for those dates.
