LA/Rdg: Surviving Antarctica words for this week are: snow bridge, slipknot, dislocate, hypothermia, sabotage, tarmac, walkie-talkie, amputate, sling, massage
Period 1-2 & 3-4: Today we continued with grammar work. Students took their final Surviving Antarctica novel quiz from chapters 29-39. We then spent the rest of the class time reading and will soon find out if the contestants get rescued or not. I wonder what is going to happen to “The Voice.”
Period 5: Persuasive Writing-Students were busy today working on finishing up their design sheets and beginning writing their rough drafts. Students received Progress Reports today.
Homework: Per. 1-2 & 3/4: None
Homework: Per. 5: Rough drafts due Monday. (a few students have their design sheets due Monday). Have Progress Report signed and bring in on Monday.
