Today in class students took a 3 question culture quiz and then got their culture collages back and graded. This is their first grade for the marking period. Please ask your child to show you their work and graded rubric. THen students received my overview of how current events is run in 6th grade social studies. Please see attachment below. We read over it and then all students received a print out of an article. We read it together and highlighted key facts: who, what, where, why and how. Tomorrow in class students are gonig to write the summary on it, 2 surprising facts and 1 question. This is considered a practice current event assignment.
