WELCOME TO
MRS. EDMAN'S MUSICAL NOTES
"When I'm up on stage, I'm performing as a 'vocalist', singing to the people through my horn. One thing I've learned is that the music always speaks for itself." Rocco Barbato, saxophone
Welcome Back To School!
I hope all of you had a wonderful summer, are relaxed and ready to begin another year of music learning, performing and enjoyment.
In order to be ready, make sure your instruments are all set!
Brass players should check to see if any of the valves or slides are frozen in place. If they are, please get them repaired before lessons begin.
Reed players, do you have a reed (or 2, or 3) all set to go? If not, stock up before lessons begin.
Percussionists, let's get those long rolls sizzling for band this year!
Second Year Band Students: The first rehearsal for the Hebron Avenue School Band will be on Thursday, October 2nd...same time, same place!
Remember, always bring a pencil to band rehearsals!
"Penso che una vita per la musica sia una vita spesa bene ed e a questo che mi sono dedicato"
"I think a life in music is a life beautifully spent and this is what I have devoted my life to"
Luciano Pavarotti (1935 - 2007)
