Current Studies

Math
All students have been taught the required concepts for Grade Four. They will work on refining and strengthening all fourth grade math skills until the end of the school year. 

Reading
Students are reading a core book called Number the Stars
Please ask your child to describe the book to you.

Writing
Students are busy refining their skill in the writing process.
They are learning how to write expository pieces.

Social Studies
We are continuing our study of  "Regions of the United States." Our main focus is the Northeast Region. Then we will break into groups to research and share what was learned about the other regions of the United States.

Science
We are in our fourth rotation for Science instruction.
