HOMEWORK:

9/23-October 22nd - Read your fantasy book on your own.  By October 22nd you should be done reading and working on the project (to be assigned on October 10th).

9/25 - White book day.  We will put in the pictures you brought in and also the poems "If You Look".  If you have stickers, special background papers, wrapping paper that would make good background paper for your writing, bring it in.

    Also, bring in things to put in your collage.  These can be photos, pictures from magazines, words, phrases or anything that shows about you.  You'll be putting these on two pages in your book.   This is something you can work on all year.

9/30 - Bring in the lyrics to one of your favorite songs.  The song must "tell a story" and have no inappropriate words in it.  You can get song lyrics from websites.  Copy and paste them into a Word document.  Print out a copy and bring it in.  Save the lyrics to your flash drive if you have one.

10/29 - Independent fantasy book read and project due.  (project will be assigned on 10/10)

• Grammar Blast This only goes up to grade five, but it's good review for everyone.
