GRADES 3-5
During the month of October third, fourth ,and fifth graders will be participating in the CT. Fitness Test. Have a dicussion with your child about the test he/she particpated in.
Components of Physical Fitness
1. Cardiorespiratory Fitness- One -Mile Run/Walk
2. Abdominal Strength and Endurance- Partial Curl-up
3. Upper Body Strength and Endurance- Right Angle Push-up
4. Flexibility- Modified Sit and Reach
GRADES K-2
During the month of October Kindergarteners will be working on rolling, throwing and catching skills. We will also bring out the colorful parachute to play with.
During the month of October First graders will be working on reviewing skills from Kindergarten. We will also be working on rolling, throwing, and catching skills.
During th month of Octoboer Second graders will be working on rolling thrwoing and catching skills. They will also be working on Fitness Concepts and Pedometers for the first time.
