Belts and beads...belts and beads...belts and beads...all of Bennet is buzzing about belts and beads! What is this madness!?!?
Our music classes are hard at working learning a booklet of songs on their recorders. Students earn a belt (as in martial arts for a tested set of skills) with each new song played accurately in solo. There are also 3-4 songs with a similar group of skills in between belt songs. With each song played accurately in solo, students add a bead to
that particular belt.
The recorders are now not only Sounding Great, but are LOOKING great as well!

Remember to ask Mrs. Walsh for extra help before or after school, especially if you are not comfortable playing in front of the class. Just five minutes of a mini-private lesson can build your skills AND your confidence.
