BAT RULE:  In the past, -3 and -5 bats have been allowed at some games.  However, to be safe, if you are purchasing a bat, it should be a -3.  If the umpire enforces the NFHS rule, any bat lighter than a -3 will not be allowed.

Visit the links below for some good informational videos from people I have met.

Players should be picked up  next to the field after practice.  On rainy days, practice will be in Kelley Gym.  Players can be picked up in front of the school.

If a game is canceled due to weather or any other reason, practice will be held in Kelley Gym from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Practice will be held Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:00pm.  In the event of poor weather, practice will be held in Kelley Gym.

Practice will be held most Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  They are not mandatory, but you are highly encouraged to attend.  If a Saturday practice is canceled due to weather or any other reason, it will be posted on this website by 9:00am that day.

Practice will be held over April vacation.  You will be expected to attend practice on a day that school is in session over what was originally April vacation.  On days when school is not in session during vacation week, the practices are not mandatory.  However, you are highly encouraged to attend.  The weather in April is unpredictable and many times poor.  Each day we can meet as a team is vitally important to our growth as a team.  It is important that we make use of the few days we have in the pre-season to get ready for the first game.

Make sure your medical form has been turned in prior to tryouts.  No one is allowed to attend tryouts until your medical form has been completed properly and turned in to the nurse.

All student-athletes will be given a fair and equal opportunity to make the Illing Baseball team.  Therefore, if you did not make the team last year, you are highly encouraged to try out this year.
