All students interested in being one of the four Illing students honored with the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery are encouraged to submit their essays by Friday, April 17th
Forms are still available from your social studies teacher. A parent signature is required. All essays must be turned in to Mrs Francoeur by 3pm on 4/17/09 ~Sorry~ No Exceptions

Due to circumstances beyond their control, two parent chaperones have had to drop off the trip.

Shirt Order Forms have been distributed to all students going to Washington. These shirts are provided to each student and must be worn on Thursday, May 14th. Order forms are due by Friday March 13th
Please take this time to go over the expectations for this trip with your son or daughter ~ especially the information regarding dress code, cell phones, and restricted items. All students and parents agreed to these expectations and they are stictly followed.

Final Payments are Due February 10th !!!!
Only those students who have paid in full, have no outstanding checks or candy money, and all their paperwork is complete will receive their roommate request forms.
Roommate forms are due by February 27th.
Forms must have a parent signature in order to be valid. Please read your forms carefully, fill them out and turn them in by the 27th. Students who do not turn in forms will be placed in rooms at the discretion of staff. No changes will be made to roommate assignments.
Nurses Needed !!!
If you are a registered nurse and are interested in coming with us to DC ~ we'd love to have you come along.

Parents who expressed an interest in chaperoning should have received a notice inquiring about your availability. Please respond to the noticce as soon as you can. We hope to make decisions about chaperones with in the next month.
Scholarship Applications
Available from your team leader or social studies teacher. All applications must be completed and turned in to Mr. Bebyn or Mrs. Francoeur.
We do provide partial scholaships to needy students so that they can participate in this amazing class trip.
Students should have brought home a packet that includes important forms for parents and students to review, sign, and return with the first payment.
Fundraising efforts have begun ~ maybe you can help us?
Our first Can & Bottle Drive was held on Saturday, October 4th in the Illing parking lot. We'd like to thanks all those who helped make it a success.

Any parent interested in selling candy may pick up a box at Illing. We will have more candy for parents to sell during the Student Led Conferences in November. To reserve a box, please have your son or daughter get a form from Mr. Bebyn.
We appreciate the wonderful response to this fundraiser. As a reminder, all candy money should have been turned in.
