Here's what we're working on in art!

Kindergarten: Collages in the style of Eric Carle, Shadow puppets, and hand puppets.

First Grade: Collages using primary, secondary, intermediate colors, and simple shapes; three dimensional castles; Still life with curved lines, asymmetrical balance, and overlapping; pinch and coil method clay pots; self-portraits in the style of Picasso using warm and cool colors and positive and negative space.

Second Grade: Eric Carle style collages of a true animal encounter; large flower abstractions Ala Georgia O'Keeffe using analogous colors; Insect designs using complementary colors in the style of Australian Aboriginal painters.

Third Grade: Monochromatic Still Life with a Light Source; Chinese folding screens using Asian brush strokes; Non Objective computer designs; African Masks in mixed media using earth tones.

Fourth Grade: Mola Designs from Panama;  Vejigantes Puerto Rico Carnival Masks, Single Point Perspective Computer Study; Textured Landscapes in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.

Fifth Grade: Printed Self Portraits in the style of Andy Warhol; Computer Art Stained Glass Design; Clay Creature formed from fused Pinch Pots
