Thank you for meeting with us for parent/teacher conferences.  We are very proud of the children's progress this year.

Please contact us if you have any questions!

The children continue to socialize and work together with their new friends in class.  Most of the children are very comfortable with our daily routine and expectations.  We continue to stress the importance of making "good" choices in school.

We go outside for recess almost every day unless recess is cancelled by the office due to inclement weather.

It would be helpful if you could label all clothing in case it gets left behind.  It is common for the children to look at their own jacket and not recognize it!

Please remember to check the lost and found (across from the library) at Nayaug if your child is missing any clothing.  Sometimes it is a good idea to check even if you don't realize that you are missing something!

Our class celebrated Veterans Day by reading the story America’s White Table by Margot Theis Raven and Mike Benny.  After reading and discussing this story we created beautiful cards to send to local Vererans.  The students were excited to work on some fun Veterans Day activities on the computer.  Our class went to the school café to see a white table that was set up in memory of all the Veterans.  Please ask your child to tell you about the story and the white table.

Throughout the month of November we will be focusing on nutrition, teeth, turkeys, Thanksgiving, Native Americans, and fall.  We will focus on the sound and formation of the letters Nn and Tt.  We look forward to sharing many great projects and activities with you!
