Welcome to third grade! We have had an exciting past few months. Some of our activities and learnings have included:
1. We have begun to study plants. We are learning about what plants need to survive and even have our own plants in the classroom that we are taking care of and observing.
2. We worked in groups with the entire third grade in order to use the knowledge we had gained from our geometry unit to create a city on the stage!! Be sure to click the link below to see some of our pictures! :)
3. A visit from a scientist to conclude our study of the Moon and Earth's Motion.
4. We have worked in cooperative learning groups with members from the other third grade classes to futher our learning the Titanic tragedy. We are proud of the projects we have created and can't wait to share them!
5. We have also been working on multiplication! Do you know what multiplication is??
In addition to all of this excitement we have been continuing to build our fact power and enjoy reading all of the new books in our library. We recently got some nice new bins and the books are all sorted for easy access!
Remember to always use your manners! We are all kind and caring kids in Third Grade!
