Hooray for the class of 2009.  This is OUR last year at PRS, so we will have FUN learning together!!

The order of our specials is gym, library, music, art.  Monday is chorus).

Our turn & talk book will be Freedom Crossing

Every night the students are enjoying a good fit book for at least 20 minutes.  They have a log to complete to let me know what they are reading and how many pages.  Their logs are checked every morning.

WTW - Reflections on our sorts, word hunts, sentences, and buddy sorts.  New sorts as needed by the groups.

Math: area, perimeter

We will continue our unit on geography through the year.

Social Studies:  Now, we are learning about some of the battles and the life of a soldier.

Thank you for the lovely birthday party with the class gift of a beautiful quilt made by Mrs. Laurie Young.

***It is important that everyone is aware that we are a peanut free classroom.  Our snacks will be healthy, but peanut free.
