Math Syllabus for the Week of June 11 - 15, 2007 Textbook- Connected Math How Likely Is It?

MondayàDay B1 1. Objective- Students will participate in the race rate competition. 2. Each student will race 50 yards or 150 feet and be timed. 3. The student’s time will be put into a formula to see if they will run the most miles. 4. Homework- No homework!

TuesdayàDay C2 1. Objective- Students will complete part 1 of the final exam. 2. The teacher will discuss the directions prior to the exam. 3. Students will have the entire period to complete part 1 of the exam. 4. Students who finish early need to please read a book quietly. 5. Homework- No homework!

WednesdayàDay D3 1. Objective- Students will complete part 2 of the final exam. 2. The teacher will discuss the directions prior to the exam. 3. Students will have the entire period to complete part 2 of the exam. 4. Students who finish early need to please read a book quietly. 5. Homework- No homework!

ThursdayàDay E4 1. Objective- Students will complete part 3 of the final exam. 2. The teacher will discuss the directions prior to the exam. 3. Students will have the entire period to complete part 3 of the exam. 4. Students who finish early need to please read a book quietly. 5. Homework- No homework!

FridayàDay A1 1. Objective- Students will compete in a kickball tournament against all other homeroom classes. 2. As a culminating activity the 6th grade class will have a cookout. 3. Homework- No Homework, have a nice weekend!
