EHGEMS animals go on vacation! Borrow a pet for the summer! Care & feed one of our delightful school animals at your house during summer vacation.

-Parakeets, turtles (land or water), Fat-tailed Gekos

Care for fish and plants at EHGEMS during the summer months! We need volunteers to feed fish and water plants in the life science lab one time per week during the summer months!

Newsflash! Rare Opportunity for your children!

Scholarships available for students K-12 from E. Hartford to theTalcott Mt. Science Center summer programs. Everyone eligible to apply. Call Talcott Mt. Science Center (860-677-8571) and visit their website listed at bottom of this page. Tell them you heard about the scholarship from Donna Rand.

  • Ask Jeeves Kids Type a question and Ask Jeeves will give you a list of websites where you may find some answers!
  • Journey North/South Project This is an important link for our students. Grade one, two and three students, especially, should check this site regularly in the Fall and Spring to get information on the Monarch Butterfly migration and also the emergence and blooming of tulip bulbs.

  • Building Bridges Grade 3 students use this program to learn about different types of bridges which span large distances.
