The 8th grade is having a test on Friday, Oct 31 on chapter 7. This test will be the last test of the marking period in social studies. I have attached the review sheet below. Students are able to create a study guide from the review sheet that is to be turned in with the test. For each completed study guide, a student will be awarded five bonus points. In addition, there is an essay the students can write ahead of time. All students are encouraged to do so and just attach the essay to their test. If you have any questions, please ask.

Hi Parents,
I returned the ch. 5 and 6 tests today. Please ask to see the tests and review them with your son or daughter. I would like to share is that I offered extra credif to the students to complete the study guide. I told the students that if they made a guide, I would give them five extra points. Less than half the class (43%) took advantage of this option. As for the essay question, the students were told that they could do the essay ahead of time and just attach it to their tests. About 56% of the class took this option. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
