Because of the excessively high temperatures predicted for this week, but especially on Monday and Tuesday, I ask that you please send in frozen water or Gatorade for your child to sip on throughout the day.
THERE WILL BE A HALF DAY TOMORROW, TUESDAY, JUNE 10TH, DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE HEAT. FREE DRESS DOWN DAY. Aftercare will run until 6:00 PM for those who need it.
As part of the 4th grade's ongoing service project, we are in the process of collecting gently used magazines for the patients at Hoboken University Hospital. If you have any old magazines headed for the recycling bin, please send them to me instead. I will see to it that they are sent to the hospital. Thank you!!!
Please send in 5 paper towels for your child this week. We ran out of our towel supply last week, and we need to start scrubbing!
Fourth grade's adoption of Lorcan the donkey has come through! Thanks to our support, all of Lorcan's food, medicine, and care will be taken care of for the school year. Our class joins the Fifth grade in supporting the Donkey Sanctuary in Ireland. The fifth graders have readopted Timmy the donkey for another year! We are participating in the "Boxtops for Education" contest again this year, so please start saving and sending them in!
