HOMEROOM REMINDERS:  

 Please Note:  The due dates for all projects, tests, current events and special activities will be listed below.  This section will be known as "Long range assignments."  "Overnight" homework’s will be listed on a weekly basis.  The exact due date will be announced in class and also posted on the white homework board.

6th Grade:

OVERNIGHT HOMEWORKS FOR THE WEEK OF September, 2008

LONG RANGE ASSIGNMENTS:  

1.  Locate and label the 7 continents and 4 oceans on the blank map of the world given to you on move-up day.

2.  Read a news magazine each week or the daily newspaper, listen to the news on TV or radio, to keep up-to-date on current events.

7th Grade:

OVERNIGHT FOR THE WEEK OF September, 2008

LONG RANGE ASSIGNMENTS

1. Locate and label the 50 states on the blank U.S. map given to you during the last week of school

2. The websites listed below in "favorite sites" should help you practice your U.S. map skills

3. Read a news magazine each week or the daily newspaper to keep up-to-date on current events

8th Grade
