The state driver's exam will be given to all students the week of 1/25/09.  Any student taking the test must achieve a grade of 80 or higher in order to pass the exam.

Week of 11/16:  Worksheet 1 and GDL laws. Seat belt laws.  Car registration, inspection and insurance.  Quiz on GDL laws.  Group activity on signs, signals, and pavement markings. 

Week of 11/30  Signs, Signals and Pavement markings.  Sign activity sheet.  Maps and Signs test.  How we communicate with other drivers.  Highway vs. City driving worksheet.

Week of 12/7: Highway vs. City driving. Test 1.  Defensive Driving worksheet.

Week of 12/14:  Quiz on Highway vs City driving.  Discuss Defensive driving.  Discuss sharing the road with other users.  Alcohol sheet.  Discuss Drinking, Drugs and Driving.

Week of 1/4:  Points and Violations.  Driver Emergencies worksheet.  Review for exam.  Practice test. 

Week of 1/25: State exam.

All students will have access to the on-line driver education course.  There are excellent websites that provide information for both students and parents on this site.
