- Read the Overview Tab
- Click on the Pro/Con Tab
- Read the Pro/Con Box
- Click on EACH hyperlinked article
- Read and SAVE at least TWO articles from each side
- Click on My Analysis
- Read 1-5

4. choose “free account”
5. register
a. follow steps to register
CHOOSE ONE ARTICLE
1. create a new list
2. description = SIRs
3. create list
4. choose “website”
5. “general”
6. author(s)
b. add the name or names of your authors
c. if you don’t have an author, go to the next step
d. “add”
7. Name of website = name of magazine or newspaper (ex. The New York Times or Time Magazine”
8. Specific page or article title = title of your article
9. Date of Website = date the article was writer
10. Sponsoring organization = “SIRs Researcher”
11. Date viewed = date you read the article
12. URL = specific URL from the ACTUAL article page (copy and paste)
13. “Generate Citation”
14. Create a citation (repeat for all articles – you should have 4 total)
AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED ALL 4 CITATIONS
1. click “Save as Word Doc”
2. on the PRINT page, choose “Export and Print”
a. if you get a pop-up window, choose “OK”
b. if you get a page that says “Export as RFT/Open in Word” choose “Click here”
3. the information should now be in a Word Document
4. Save and Print
