Read Serow:  Congress (the first four readings - got a white book?  only the first two, then see me for copies of the third and fourth)

Friday - Panel discussion and quiz on first four Serow readings (Congress)

Current Events Format

Find an article about government.  Try to collect articles from a different part of the government each week.  

Cut it out or print it out making sure that you have the entire article.  Read the article with a highlighter.  Look for the following things to highlight:

Who?-
Where?-
When?-
What?-
Why important?-
How has your opinion been affected?

Write those six categories on a separate piece of paper.  Staple to your article.  Be ready to discuss the article with your class on Friday.
