Cosmetology is located in room 262. We have a direct line (301)497-2080, however if you call the main number our extension is 253. I have planning during period one. Our students have begun their professional training careers. We continuously ask for your time, patience, and support with homework and practical skills. Students are required each night to read and review their text, key terms and perhaps theory and/or practical workbooks.Every student will begin to build a cosmetology vocabulary that will play a vital role in passing the professional exam.
Each Monday will begin with a list of related terms from the pre-determined class syllabus, therefore it is ongoing homework to review the chapter of study nightly.
The senior class will begin work based learning within the coming weeks. All seniors must be under the supervision of a senior cosmetologist. Hopefully they have made contact with someone, if not I will find them a senior to mentor them. Please be aware, I will try to find salons convenient to your home but that is not always possible. I will keep you informed of student progress but feel free to call me.
