June 6: Ice Cream Day. Students will participate in several different ice cream activities and of course.. Eat some too!
June 9: Bubble Day
June 10: Beach Day and 2nd grade awards assembly.

Reading: We are finishing up the last theme which is called Talent Show. The stories include The Art Lesson Moses Goes to a Concert, and The School Mural.
Spelling Homework: We will keep the same homework directions we used the third term for the fourth term.
Monday: Select one activity
A. Choose 10 words. Write the word once, and then write it a second time without the first letter. Continue the next time with-out the first two letters. Repeat until the whole word disappears!

B. Choose ten words. Write each word in one color. Trace over each word using a second color. Trace over each word using a third color.
Tuesday: Select one activity
A. Write your words in ABC order
B. Write your spelling words in the correct section of the dictionary where you would find them.
Wednesday: Select one activity. Underline your spelling word.
A. Write a 5 sentence paragraph using 10 or more of your spelling words. Each sentence should consist of at least 6 words. (Topic sentence, 3 details, concluding sentence).
B. Write a 5 sentence story using 10 or more of your spelling words. Each sentence should consist of at least 6 words. (Tile, Beginning, Middle and End).
Thursday: Study for your test.
