We are practicing for the concert "Happy Hoedown" as well as "International Jingle Bells" and regular "Jingle Bells". Please make sure they are rehearsing.

We are moving right along. Lately, we have been working on learning the notes on the 3rd/G string. As soon as we are done learning the notes, we will learn a few songs for the holiday season and even try to learn them as a class to go caroling in the school before we leave for break.

8TH GRADE GUITAR
We are working on songs for holiday caroling in the class as well as songs for the Guitar Coffee House on February 5, 2008. We have been working hard on learning how to change the strings on the guitars and all the students in this class has brand new strings to play. They did a great job. Now, we are learning how to read tablature with our class songs.
Have a good week and enjoy the holidays,
Mrs. Bowers
