I hope everyone enjoyed their summer. I am excited to be teaching third grade this year.. Students were given a supply list in their last report card. Please try to have supplies as soon as possible. Students will have homework most nights. Please initial the assignment book each night after you have seen the completed assignment.
We are excited to have Mrs. Kepley as our assistant and Student Teacher this year. She will be starting her Student Teaching on Septtember 8th.
AR Goals have been set for the nine weeks. They might be lower this nine weeks as I get to know the sudents and we work out our AR Class Time. Students should bring their AR Folder home each night. They can only return unread books twice during the nine weeks. Students need to be reading at least 30 minutes each night. Students have a log to keep of books read at home.
AM Goals will also be set as soon as possible. Students need to scan at least every other day in order to make this goal. .
Folders will be sent home on Thursday. There will be a grade sheet inside the folder. Please review the papers , sign and return as soon as possible.
We will again collect box tops and Campbells soup labels. Please get in the habit of saving these if you are not already doing so.
Spelling Tests are on Friday. The test will consist of high frequency words. Students were given a list and dates for the test.
Formula III will begin September 8th.
Our lunch is at 11:35. We would love to have you join us for lunch.
We have gym on Tuesdays. Students need tennis shoes.
