This rotation allows the children more time in specials each quarter. Please emphasize to your child the importance of doing their best in specials, as they are graded once a quarter on both participation & content knowledge.

Day 1—Art (Mr. Kepford)
Day 2—PE (Ms.Haynos)
Day 3—Music (Ms.Wilson)
Day 4—Computer Lab (Mrs.Johnson)

September P.E. Dates
**Tennis Shoes**
September 11,17,23

September Music Dates
**Recorder**
September 12,18,24

Self Assessments:
I appreciate the parents who have signed the self assessments. This is a great tool for parents and teachers. It lets you know on a daily basis of your child’s homework and behavior status.  Look for this every day and sign it. (This includes Fridays.)

Reading Logs:
All children should be reading at least 20 minutes per night Mon. thru Thur. Weekend reading is not required but it would definitely add to strengthening your child as a reader.

Medical Information:
Please let me know if your child has a medical issue that we should know about. If your child needs to take medicine (or needs an inhaler) you will need to sign a medicine/medical form.
