The children will be reading the books: Raccoon on his Own, The Puddle Pail and Play With Me.
Dates to Remember:
•    Valentine’s Day is Thursday, 2/14/08.
•    Early Release on Friday, 2/15/08 dismissal @ 12:15.
•    No school on Monday, 2/18/08, President’s Day.
•    FSPD Family Workshop Session 5: Alphabet Knowledge on Friday, 2/29/08.
Things to Remember:
•    Please continue to check your child’s folder every night and please sign it.
•    Remember that learning can be messy in the preschool classroom and we will do all we can to help your children keep their clothes neat and clean.  We will be using paint, markers, running in the grass, eating foods with ketchup, and digging in the sand.
The preschoolers will be having a Valentine’s Day party on Thursday, 2/14/08.  Families are encouraged to share cards with their children’s friends within the classroom. The preschoolers will be creating their own special Valentine’s Day mailboxes to collect their Valentine’s Day mail. We will have a yummy snack, watch a Valentine’s Day movie and enjoy fun small group activities.
We are so proud of the growth the children have shown, they have learned many new skills.  Let’s keep up the hard work, remember to read to your child every night. Let’s work together to help your child build a STRONG foundation of skills.

Warmly, Ms. Drapeau
