Honors US History:
Homework for 11/19 and 11/20: Vietnam War Project is due this Monday. It is worth a test grade. If you are leaving early for the Thanksgiving Holiday, you need to make sure you turn it in early before you leave. Guided Notes for Chapter 26 are also due this Monday/Tuesday.
Homework for 11/17 and 11/18: Vietnam War Project, which is worth a test grade, will be due this Monday and Tuesday, 11/23 and 11/24. Also, due this Monday and Tuesday will be the Chapter 26 Guided Notes.
Homework for 11/13 and 11/16: Complete the Vietnam Packet that deals with the My Lai Incident. The Vietnam War Project is due on Mon/Tues, November 23rd and 24th. We will have a quiz on the Vietnam War on 11/19 and 11/20 (Thurs./Fri.).
Homework for 11/10 and 11/12: Vietnam project guidelines will be passed out to the class. These will be due next Thurs./Fri. Guided notes for Chapter 25 on the Vietnam War will be due next clas period. Students also need to complete the "Origins of the War" reading and the map on Vietnam.
Homework for 11/6 and 11/9: Complete the packet on LBJ's "Great Society." We will be having a quiz on JFK and LBJ next Tues./Thurs. Guided notes for Chapter 25 will be due next Thurs./Fri.
Homework for 11/4 and 11/5: Complete the Chapter 25 Guided Notes on the Vietnam War. This will be due next Tues./Thurs.
Homework for 11/2 and 11/3: Please complete the packet on JFK. This includes the alternative decisions that JFK could have taken during the Cuban Missile Crisis. We will be taking a quiz on JFK next Tues./Thurs.
Homework for 10/28 and 10/29: The guided notes packet for Chapter 24 on Kennedy and Johnson is due next Wed./Thurs. We will be having a quiz on the civil rights on Mon./Tues. Please make sure to study.
Civics and Economics:
Homework for 11/19: We will be testing on Chapters 12, 13, and 14 next Tuesday. Review guides for this test went home yesterday. We will be having the second part of the state government quiz on Monday. This will deal with the executive and judicial branches of NC Gov't. Work for Chapters 13 and 14 will be due on Friday, along with the Current Event on State and Local Government.
Homework for 11/17: Chapters 12, 13, and 14 work will be passed out in class today. This work will be due this Friday. We will test on Local and State Government of North Carolina next Tuesday, November 24. Study Guides will be passed out in class on Wednesday.
Homework for 11/16: Complete the worksheet comparing the process for how a law is passed in the federal compared to the state government.
Homework for 11/13: We will be having a quiz on Monday on the North Carolina State Government compared to the US Federal Government. Please make sure to look over your notes to prepare for this quiz.
Homework for 11/12: Bring in current event on NC State government. Complete the Chapter 12 Work on Roots of NC Democracy.
Homework for 11/10: We are starting state and local government in class. Students need to begin completing work for Chapter 12 on State of North Carolina Government.
