General Tips For Any Subject
Be Prepared: Assume your children will have studying to do each night. Work with them to create a comfortable, distraction-free homework zone.
Be Avaliable: Check with your children while they are working. Help them cope with feelings of frustration.
Encourage your child to ask their teachers questions, reminding them that a visit before or after class is most effective.
Stay in touch with your child’s teachers. (Email / SchoolNotes Page, Phone, or Send a Note)
Inspire Learning Outside of School: Encourage your child to tell you about what they are learning in class. Nurture your child’s personal interests, perhaps finding activities that parallel what they are studying in school.
