2007 - 2008
Thank you for visiting my School Notes page. The Guidance Department is available to assist parents and students at any time. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Students may come by before homeroom and set up an appointment or they may get permission from one of their Exploratory Teachers and come during that class. Of course, if a student feels that they cannot wait until their Exploratory Class, they may get permission from their teacher and there should be a counselor available.
Parents may call the Guidance Department and talk to a counselor or set up an appointment to come in for a conference. We also can schedule a parent - teacher conference for you.
We encourage parental involvement. You know your child better than anyone else. Contrary to what many middle school students may tell their parents, we do like for you to be involved in your child's school life.
This year, I will be the Guidance Department liasion for the 7grade. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Mrs. Patricia Reece will be 8th grade and Mrs. Ellen Howard will be 6th grade.
Testing is a major part of my job. We always need parents to help proctor during tests. If you are available, please call Debbie Pinyan in the Guidance Department.
