Introduction to Algebra I Classes

General Information:
1.Homework is graded everyday.
2.Class usually begins with a five minute quiz on review material.
3.The Skills booklet is used in class and for homework. Our textbook is kept in the room but is available for anyone to check out at anytime. Many of our unit test are given from the textbook.
4.Calculators are assigned to each student. The entire Final exam is calculator based. Students will become very skilled in the usage of the TI-83.

Supplies Needed:
1. Large three ringed binder
2. Notebook paper
3. Pencils
4. Dividers
5. One pack of AAA batteries

Each student has been given two workbooks. These workbooks should be with them at all times. Homework is assigned Monday - Thursday. A quiz is given from the homework assignment each day.

August 25-September 4
We will cover 1-1 through1-8 and take a chapter one test on Thursday, September 4.
