1st period Honors Geometry class had their chapter 10 test on Friday, May 2. Their updated grades are posted. We had a quick introduction to the unit circle and have now started Chapter 11. We will be finding the area of regular polygons and the geometric probablilty the next 3 days and possibly have our Chapter 11 test on Monday, May 12.
2nd and 3rd period Geometry classes will have their chapter 10 test on Wednesday, May 7 and begin Chapter 11 immediately after the test. Our chapter 11 test will probably be Thursday, May15.
All students who have access to a computer at home will be bringing home a CD on Wednesday, May 7, with EOC practice questions on it. If they do not have access to a computer, they will be provided with a paper copy. These questions are to be done on their own for the next 2 weeks. They should be completed by May 29 so we can check them and go over them in class. Class time to complete these will be given IF we finish all of our course work by then.
1st period exam will be June 4
2nd period exam June 5
3rd period exam June 6
Have students begin now to study the definitions on their foldables so they will not need to cram the night before.
