Howdy folks! We have gotten off to a great start! We have had fun with our western unit where the children got a "taste" of different activities we will be doing throughout the year (Examples: Hands-on measurement, reading and all the skills that go along with it, writing, comparing using mapping, and much more). Homework starts this week. Be sure to work with your child on this. It is meant to reinforce what we do during the school day. Also, be sure to read to your child and let your child read to you each day. This is so important in helping your child become a successful and enthusiastic reader. Thank you for all you do!
