We are in the process of planning our Title I reading and math programs for the new school year. Within the first two weeks of school you should be notified if your child has been chosen to receive Title I help.
PLEASE encourage your child to take time to read at home. Just like practicing free throws or dance moves over and over, this extra reading provides your child with practice on reading skills learned at school. Practice can help to make those skills "automatic" and, thus, can do much to speed your child's reading progress.
TITLE I DETAILS FOR 2008-2009
During this school year, Mr. Curtis Treece, the Title I reading teacher, will be working with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Ms. Alicia Beaver, our math tutor, will also be helping students in grades two through five. Both Mr. Treece and Ms. Beaver work part-time at the school. Mr. Treece is here until 12:30 PM each day, and Ms. Beaver is here until 1:00 PM.
If you have questions about the Title I reading or math programs at Bostian, please feel free to email Mr. Treece through the link at the top of this page.
