We are making great progress in working toward our AR points. Continue to read at home and during DEAR time. Let me know, if you need help getting a book on your level. You should try to get at least 5 points by the first week in December.
Our focus this week- What have you learned today and how can it help you? What are strategies you can use to help you learn new vocabulary and spelling words?
Fifth graders are completing their mystery stories and projects this week. Great JOB!!!

Remember to always be the best you can be. Do not hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
A few reminders: * Periodically you will be contacted for conferences concerning your child's progress. * Feel free to contact us anytime you have questions or concerns. * Each time students receive a progress report or report card from the regular classroom, they will also receive a progress report from the Exceptional Children's Department.
Read every day and try playing board games with your family. Students should read something enjoyable each day and retell in sequence what they read.
