I hope everyone is enjoying your summer break. We are busy at school planning and preparing for another great school year!
Please remember the importance of reading, writing and keeping up with skills that were taught this past school year. Prescriptive Instruction is available to all students throughout the summer. You simply go to www.prescriptiveinstruction.com Building code is bost and students use their same username and password as what is used during school. This is an excellent way to practice reading and math skills during the summer.
Our Open House for this school year is Thursday, August 21st, 3-6 PM. This will be an opportunity to come meet your teacher, find out bus/car rider information, find out about our PTA, visit the cafeteria/put money on accounts, and simply see your friends. Please join us during this day so we may answer any questions you have.
Kindergarten screenings will take place on Monday, August 18th. If your child is starting kindergarten this year, please come on in and pick up information and we will schedule a screening time for you. Kindergarten students have a staggered entrance August 25th-27th. This means one-third of our students come each day. This allows students the opportunity to adjust to coming to school with a small group. August 28th will be the first day with all kindergarten students present.
