How to know what is happening in Social Studies: 1. Keep current in the agenda. a. Write the daily assignments in the appropriate box. b. Record the chapter and pages we are studying. c. Look for notes from teachers or send notes to teachers from parents. d. Look over the agenda and sign it every day. 2. Keep an organized blue notebook. a. Label each assignment with the date, pages, and title. b. Complete classwork and homework in the blue notebook and keep up with the grades. c. The first place to look for grades for the current quarter. 3. Keep an organized blue folder. a. The place to keep maps, study guides, and tests for the current quarter. b. The second place to look for grades for the current quarter. 4. Keep a neat and completed workbook. a. Questions and charts to review the chapter we are studying. b. The third place to find grades for the current quarter.
Grades: Classwork and homework: Check - = 75, check = 85, check + = 100 Workbook and test: Dependent on the number of questions. A = 93-100, B = 85-92, C = 77-84, D = 70-76, F = 0-69
