Our next practice for Special Olympics swimming is December 3rd.  Send swim items as soon as possible..

This week, we are focusing on the consonant “d”.  Please check the agenda for homework.  Students should write the words each night.  A great way for helping them learn the words is to cover the words, copy the words, and then compare the words.

One group of students will work on high frequency words and:

doll, desk, dish, dress, drum, duck, dog, deer, door, deep, day, drive, dust, dive, dime, dip, dart

Challenge words are: do, does, did

Another group will work on being able to point to the picture when asked:

doctor, dog, doll, door, dress, drum, duck, desk

In math, we are working measurement in inches and centimeters.  We will continue with this theme during the month of December.

In science, we will discuss matter.  We will do some experiments with solids, liquids, and gases.

Santa pictures are December 2nd.

Have a great week!!
