***Please remember that your child needs to read 4 out of 7 nights. Parents need to write the name of the book and the parent's initials on the calendar in the agenda. This is graded weekly and recorded in the gradebook. This is also how your child earns the privilege to go to the Reading Incentive Program at the end of the nine weeks. He/she must have 7 out of 9 weeks with at least 100 on each week and meet his/her AR goal. If you have questions, please refer to your second grade handbook in your child's agenda or call me.
***Please send a snack with your child each day. We go to lunch early and most of the children are really hungry by the time we go outside for recess. We will have snack time each day, so it really is very important that you send the snack.
