This program teaches kids to read, write, and spell. The Zoo-phonics Program teaches the alphabet using a cast of Animal characters and sounds, and a body movement that directly relates to the Animal/Letter, allowing children to utilize the alphabet immediately.

Popcorn words are sight words your child will learn to read this year. Check back monthly for new words. Practice reading these words. Make flashcards, point them out in stories you read together, and practice writing them.

We are looking for examples of our character word of the month RESPECT. Each month we will discuss the Character Word of the Month and learn how to exhibit these traits. A student will be selected at the end of the month to represent our class at the Character Trait Luncheon.
