Homework for the week of Oct. 6th
Spelling: Review the first 25 words we've had so far. We will take a test on them on Friday. All words are in your agenda. Check out the flashcards on this website for practice.
Word Family: Study your word family words for this week. They are the -unk family. These are words like: bunk, hunk, skunk, etc. Any -unk words you can remember and write on your spelling test will be extra credit for you.
Math: We will be starting subtraction this week. Complete pages 19 and 20.
Social Studies: Complete the Fire Safety sheet with your name and address. Color, cut, fold and glue your fire safety truck.
Reading: Read
4 out of 7 nights each week. Write the title of the book on the correct
date of the September calendar on page 33 in the agenda.
REMINDERS
Cookie dough orders and money are due Tuesday! Field trip on Tuesday. The cost of the trip if $3.50. You also need to send a canned drink for that day. Dress comfortably.
We will be visiting the Liberty Fire Department on Friday, October 10.
Fall Festival is October 18. Parents, if you are able to help with our class game (the demolition car), please let Miss Westbrook or Lisa Bennett know.
All homework is due on Friday. Please return homework inside the green homework folders when finished.
P.E. is on Thursdays, please wear appropriate shoes.
