The school year is really going by fast. We are working to make the children life-long learners and some of the children are working hard to achieve all of the academic opportunities that are offered.
Please continue letting your child read to you each night for at least 20 minutes. Parent involvement is very important in a child's education.
We look forward to seeing you on parent night, Thursday, November 15th. 2007. We are planning very informative sessions that will benefit you in helping your child.
For the month of November, we will be studing the early people of North Carolina. We will continue writing every day.
Also we are working on our multiplication facts and problems. The children really need to know their multiplication facts. Please practice with your child as much as possible.
It is very inportant that each child completes their homework and return it to me. My homework is not busy work. It is used to reinforce what I have taught that day. I also use everything that I assign as an assesssment.
Thank all of you that have visited the room this year. Also thank you for all of your support.
It is so important that you be a part of your child's education. Remember, I am working with you.
