SchoolNotes.com - Linking Educators to the Community

Hello again Wolf Pack Fans!

Well guess what?  It is almost the end of the year and We are currently studying World War II and finishing up End of Grade Testing.  Any resources, movies, family history accounts etc...you can share with them at home or even with us at school would be a plus. History is more enjoyable when it has meaning. Likewise if you have cable or Sat-TV the History, Discovery, and Biography Channels are always airing programs that tie in with what we study even if we aren't on a particular topic at the time so that could be an excellent resource to check out every so often. Also I will try and keep folks informed of interesting programs that fit in our curriculum when I find out about them. Oh, don't forget North Carolina Public Television, they offer programs occasionally that relate to the topics we study as well. And of course, please check to see that your child is completeing their homework every night. You can call the Spider Monkey Team Homework Hotline every day at 704-857-7946 ext. 2801 to get an accuarte update on the homework assigned!  Thank you for taking an interest in your child's education, it means a great deal to us, but so much more to them.

 Mr. Shuping.
