Here we go again!  Off to a new start.  Beginnings can be both exciting and scary.  I'm excited about this second year at Shive and seeing many of you again!  I am working on a schedule and will work primarily with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade this year.  I'll be working in Mrs. Lambert's classroom again this year  I'll be pulling my 4th and 5th graders into my room at various times.  

I'll update you as we discuss particular novels in 4th grade and plan other units.  I plan to have the children working on measuring and following directions to fix some fun recipes.  Of course our math instruction will follow the standard course of study and we will all work on our place value skills.
