Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted Education Program Purpose:
The purpose of the Rowan-Salisbury School System's Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted Education Program is to provide differentiated educational services for academically and/or intellectually gifted students that comply with Article 9B.
5th Grade:
We will be studying Shakespeare and Elizabethan Times.
Spelling & Vocabulary will come from 5th Grade Greek and Latin Stems.
Unit Vocabulary Words:
4th Grade:
Spelling and Vocabulary for these few weeks will come from the 4th Grade High Frequency Words.

We will be discussing good problem solving strategies and Deductive Reasoning.
5th Grade:
We will be using a new mathematics program called Singapore Math.
We will be using Accelerated Math to help prepare students for standardized testing.
4th Grade:
We will be using a new mathematics program called Singapore Math.
3rd Grade:
VERY IMPORTANT: Practice Your Multiplication Facts!
Grading:
I will be responsible for grades for Reading and Vocabulary and Mathematics for the 4th and 5th Grade AIG students. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about grading in these areas. Student work will go home weekly in the Tuesday Folders.
