Welcome, my name is Celia Jarrett, I am one of three Reading Assistants here at Rockwell School. My job is to assist your child's teacher with reading and math remediation. I work with 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Is your child struggling with his or her reading or math skills? If so, I may be able to help. Please contact your child's teacher to see if my services would be appropriate for your child. At Rockwell we are interested in helping every child reach their potential.
Currently my students are learning the following:
3rd Grade Reading: We are reading about Helen Keller and other books that show courage in adversity.
5th Grade Reading: We are studing various reading comprehension strategies while reading the novel Jim Ugly.
5th Grade Math: We are reviewing geometry, fractions and algebra.
