Spelling Contract -
Monday- Say and tap out your words. Next, say and write each word on a table top with the pad of your finger. Have a grown-up call out your words to you while you write them on paper for a home practice activity. Write the words you miss three times each.
Tuesday- Take a practice test at home. Write the words you miss 3X each again. Then, neatly write 1 sentence using at least three of your words. Pick the hardest ones. Turn these in on Friday with your HW packet.
Wednesday-If you got all your regular words correct, (not the Challenge words), then you are finished. If you mised words on the Practice Test, write each one three times each, say it and tap it out. Try to remember how we learned it at school.
Thursday-Continue to practice at home. Take another practice test at home on the words you keep missing.
Friday- Final Test !! Good luck!!

Please keep your Spelling Contract in a safe place to be used each week to study. You may choose to keep it in your child's notebook.
______________We will visit the Rockwell Rural Fire Dept. on Tuesday morning for an hour to talk with the firemen and to walk through the smokehouse. We will be back in time for our regular lunch.
______________Please make sure your child has a healthy snack each day.
______________We go to the library on Mondays at 10:05. Please have all library books back on Mondays.
______________We have P.E. on Wednesdays at 1:40.
______________Please be reading aloud to your child. This creates a love for reading that will follow them through life.
______________Please work on your word cards nightly and return to school the next day.
